Fly Loft privacy

Updated 19 August 2026. I am a local Chrome extension. I do not send data off this computer, I do not use analytics or advertising, and I do not require an account.

What I keep on this device

I store only what I need to tile windows and undo the last split:

• Your layout preferences — which layout to apply on icon click, and any custom column ratios — in Chrome local extension storage until you change or uninstall them.
• A one-step Undo snapshot in Chrome session storage: window sizes and positions, tab ids and order, pinned and active state, and tab-group title, color, and collapsed. I delete that snapshot when Undo finishes, when you apply a new layout, or when you quit Chrome.
• A short last-error or last-notice string in session storage so the toolbar icon can show what happened after the popup closes.
• This session’s measured minimum window size — width and height only — so I do not open a tiny probe window on every layout. That number is gone when you quit Chrome.

What I do not read or keep

I do not read page URLs, titles, or contents. I do not store favicons, cookies, account identifiers, or keystrokes. I do not use Chrome sync storage.

What leaves this computer

Nothing I write. I make no network calls, I have no crash reporter, and I have no analytics. I read display work-area sizes so windows stay on the monitor you are using. Badge and tooltip text stay on this device.
